So it appears the two DJ's have started a bit of a beef. Last week, DJ Clue was set to premiere a new track on his radio show. The song was Nicki Minaj's new one called Beez in the Trap Featuring 2 Chains. Funkmaster Flex apparently was not happy that Clue would be premiering this. The story goes that Flex hacked into Clue's e-mail to get the track. Flex then played the song on his radio show instead.
Not only did he play the song, he had some choice words for DJ Clue. Basically, Flex told Clue that he was a wanna-be. He's trying to be the next Funkmaster Flex, but no one can be another FF and that he should quit right now. Flex then goes on to call him out saying that he doesn't belong in his arena, and that he's been around way too long to be disrespected by a man like him.
The problem with the story is that DJ Clue says he was never sent the Nicki Minaj song. Clue tweeted "So this Fat Old dude saying he hacked my email & took a record that was never emailed to me? #CompulsiveLiar". He goes on to tweet that he beats Funkmaster Flex in all the ratings.
Clue came out yesterday telling his fans and giving Flex a personal shout out saying that he's not going to listen to some old fat guy that's been around for too long, and tells him to quit. Clue says he's the future of radio DJ and its time for Flex to hang it up. Anything is possible now as this feud will not end soon
In my opinion, they both need to shut up. Both of these guys get the biggest stars on to their studio shows and get them to produce outrageous freestyles that I thought I would never hear. For them to cause a feud over something like an average song by Nicki is childish.
Any feedback is certainly welcome. I will respond to any comments. I'm Stumpy, and that's what I have to say.
