Pusha T released a new song today entitled "Exodus 23:1". In it, he sends out a diss to YMCMB artist Drake. Some of you may know that Lil Wayne and Pusha T have had a bit of a beef for a while now, but after the song release, Weezy tweeted about the track. "Fuk Pusha T an anyone who like em".
Pretty strong words right there. I just saw on Twitter that fellow G.O.O.D. Music group member Kid Cudi showed his support to Pusha.
Stay tuned to this because it could be the beginning of the next big rivalry in the rap game, between YMCMB and G.O.O.D. Music.

2 Chainz Arrested??
Well, 2 Chainz was arrested. Why? Well Tity Boi was on his way down to North Carolina to do a show, and TSA pulled him out of line. It appears that he had brass knuckles in his bag.
That's pretty stupid. What's he going to do with brass knuckles on a plane, punch a hole in the window and kill everyone? Why would he do that if he's trying to do a show.
2 Chainz agent is saying that it was a big misunderstanding and it was actually just a four finger ring that says "DOPE" on it. The ring that 2 Chainz usually wears could be mistaken for brass knuckles, so this is very possible.
Tauheed was taken into custody for misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon. Or a piece of jewelry.
Updates will come

Say it Ain't So Drake!
Well, after hearing this news now half of YMCMB is done for me because apparently Drake WANTS to work with Lil B......I know I was as shocked as you were.
Lil B tweeted about 6 days ago that Drake is the only one he wants to work with and that it will happen. Dude from Fuse called BasedGod to ask him and he said that he couldn't really talk about it yet, but they were in the process of doing something really big.
So, as it seems Drake and Lil B will be doing some work together. Oh yeah, Lil B also said that his tabby cat KeKe (the first cat to ever get a record deal on a rap label) will be filming its first music video soon. They're hoping to reach out to get Amber Rose on the track because she said the cat was cute. No I am not lying.
So am I the only one that remembers listening to the Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape and went hard during Wayne's "Grove Street Party Remix" and then when Lil B came on the track turned it off and cut themselves? I didn't think so.
Let me say this once. LIL B IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! If you have never listened to him, don't because you'll just ask for that time back. It literally makes my ears bleed and for some reason stupid bastards out there actually listen to him and caused him to have one of the biggest following in hip hop. When he was announced as a XXL Freshman, I cried. I don't know who wants to hear his music.
I could put a baby in a blender while watching a cat get ripped apart by a dog all while a persons skull is being bashed with a hammer by an old woman twiddling her twat and that would sound 10,000x better than any Lil B song. Its that bad.
I just can't get over why someone who's actually talented (Drake) would want to work with that piece of garbage. The best thing I've ever seen is the video on YouTube of Lil B getting knocked the f**k out.
Lets talk about some of this tool's songs. One song was called Paris Hilton. The lyrics go a little something like, "Hilton, Hilton Bitch i'm Paris Hilton" for 3 straight minutes. It's straight ridiculous.
The dude also goes around and says were just jealous because "BasedGod f'd all my bitches" yeah right. This dude is going to be the next 70 year old virgin. If any woman even touches the dude she should get the death penalty.
Lil B should be banned from ever rapping again. Dude puts out a shitty mixtape like, every two weeks. Gets like 100k listens somehow. I'm utterly shocked that Drake would even think of wanting to work with him.
The dude also signed his cat to a deal????? WTF! Dude's crazy. Get him off the Earth, please, for everyone's sake.
I'm Stumpy and this is what I say. You all know it's true.

Mac Miller is Such A Great Guy
If you remember, back in December, Mac Miller donated like, $50k to Make A Wish Foundation. Well, this week, Mac is at it again.
Malcolm went down and recorded a new song. Normal, right? Well, he jumped on a track with a kid terribly ill with cancer. Bobby Stewart's passion in his life is hip hop. When Mac Miller asked him to do a song with him, it blew him away.
"To be with Mac is a blessing. He’s lyrically amazing. Hip hop is my passion." says Stewart.
Mac was also very touched by this saying that now after this experience knowing that his music has affected someone's life, that's all that matters.
I think it's great that Mac would do this. How often in the world today do you see a superstar like this step aside on his daily activities to record a song with an ill child? I think we need to see a lot more of this because it really gives hip hop a better name. This is what should be in the news instead of rappers getting arrested for drugs and what not. This is the kind of thing that could clean up hip hop's name.

No More Jay Z?
That's right. it looks like HOV is taking a break from making music for a while. A day after announcing his music festival in Philadelphia, Jay Z came out to say that he will be stepping aside from the rap game to spend more time with his daughter, Blue Ivy.
His announcement of the two day music festival that he will not only run, but also perform in, will be his last venture for awhile. He said that about 70% of the acts have been booked, but didn't want to released any names yet. He then went on to say that he will release acts as time goes on.
Sad to see a superstar like Jay Z step away for a time. I guess this means the rumors of Watch the Throne 2 are not true. Nonetheless though, it's good to see a man with the stature of HOV stepping aside to spend time with his daughter. Obviously with her parents being Beyonce and Jay Z her life is already off to an odd start. Hell, she already is the feature on a song by Jay Z.
Although I'd rather see him stick around and make some more music, its always good to see some one stepping aside to raise family.

Live From The Underground
Big K.R.I.T. is in the news again as he has announced the track list for his debut album Live From The Underground. Coming off the huge success of, well let's be honest, all of his mixtapes, K.R.I.T. finally is releasing an album.
Features on the album include, of course, 2 Chainz, Ludacris, Bun B, and 8Ball. Of course K.R.I.T., Luda, and Bun B are very familiar with each other after the very successful remix of "Country Shit" (Click here to hear).
I must say, I'm very excited for this album. K.R.I.T. has yet to put out something that I haven't loved. All of his mixtapes are full of everything a rap fan enjoys including a lot of great lyrics, some sick beats, and some good ass bass.
Make sure you buy this album June 5 and support a rapper that deserves every ounce of it.

2 Chainz to G.O.O.D. Music??
"2 Chainsz is charging 100k for a verse now cause he's G.O.O.D!!!!!" was the tweet sent out Friday night by G.O.O.D. music icon Kanye West. Following the tweet, Titi Boi himself had an interview and neither confirmed or denied these rumors.
During the interview, Tauheed said Yeezy just meant that he was good in the sense that he was an "ill rapper". The only problem with that response was 2 Chainz going on further to explain that the two of them agreed that he was doing too many features and not enough of his own thing.
"I would of done almost anything a couple months ago. It was really about reaching out, but you know ... I still will, I'm still grounded, but it just makes sense for me to slow down a little bit being that I got an album [Based on a T.R.U. Story] coming out August the 14th."
(Source www.ballerstatus.com)
Adding more fuel to the fire was at the end of the interview, he still would neither confirm or deny the rumors. The thing is, G.O.O.D. Music is a label under Def Jam Records. Guess what record company 2 Chainz is signed with? You got it, Def Jam.
In my opinion, I think it would be great to see 2 Chainz signed with Ye and G.O.O.D. Music. Hearing him perform with the likes of Kanye, Big Sean CyHi The Prynce, Q-Tip, and Pusha T (just to name a few) would be unreal. Oh wait, that already happened. I think the fact 2 Chainz appeared on the "Mercy" single, off The Good Music Album, is a sign that is will be/is already signed to G.O.O.D. This is especially believable knowing that Kanye wants to sign Chief Keef from SOGMG after the success of the "I Don't Like" freestyle. Nonetheless, in the words of 2 Chainz, "stay tuned".
Once again, Based on a T.R.U. Story is due out August 14 of this year.
Let's hope these rumors are "TRU".

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar?
J. Cole has announced that himself and rapper Kendrick Lamar will release a joint album.
There have been rumors swirling around that the two young guns have been in the studio together, but recently during an interview, J. Cole revealed that for the last few days to a week they have been recording. He also says that currently, they have 5 songs put together already, and that the project will be an album.
If I know anything about these two rappers its that the two of them together will make one hell of a music project. I may not be a big fan of J. Cole personally, but I can definitely tell you he's one hell of a rapper.
Kendrick Lamar is another guy that seems the fly under the radar of a lot of fans, but needs to be hitting the big time. I've gotten a couple of his mixtapes and over the past couple days with all the time riding in the car got a chance to listen to them.
Hearing the news of this album is pretty exciting for me. Expect one very lyrical project.

Serena Williams, The Rapper?
As most of you may know, Serena Williams is one hell of a tennis player. As one half of the WIlliams sisters in the WTA, she's won her fair share of stuff. I guess tennis isn't enough anymore because she took her hand at rapping. TMZ says that she recorded this song with B Major Music Group, owned by Bryant McKinnie of the Baltimore Ravens.
All I gotta say is her first line was "I ball hard no tennis racquet/ I can't see them haters through my Gucci glasses".
Nonetheless, gotta give her credit, its pretty good. She's no Nicki Minaj, but then again she's not as bad as Lil B. Anyway, here it is, Serena Williams debut rap song.

Song Of The Week
I figured I'd keep this blog fun and post a song each week that's been stuck in my head. This here is the first track released off the upcoming mixtape Well Done 3. Tyga released it about 2 or 3 weeks ago now, and I got the chance to see him perform it live, and it went so hard. This is his freestyle over a slightly altered "Mercy" beat, but here it is, Tyga with "Designer"

Rick Ross In The News Again
AllHipHop.com is reporting that Rick Ross under went gastric bypass surgery about a month ago. Due to recent health issues, which caused the Bawse to miss a few scheduled shows and events, doctors said this was the way to go.
It's being reported that he had a "lap band" put on to decrease his appetite and put on a new exercise regiment. In the last month, members of the Rick Ross camp have said Rosay has already lost 20 lbs.
If you ask me this is good news not only because his health was putting his life in danger, but I'm sick of seeing Rick Ross shirtless in all his videos. Too many rolls man, too many rolls.
Just still can't imagine a skinny dude with that beard and a bald head.

Meek Mill News
After the highly anticipated release of Dreamchasers 2 Meek Mill is back in the news. The Maymach Music Group star has announced he has signed with Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
Now, for those of you thinking that he is leaving MMG, it is not true. He applauds Rick Ross for launching his career and making him a household name. He also gave a shout out to Wale for making the climb with him. This signing does not mean he will no longer be with the group.
MMG member Wale is also under some management with Roc Nation as well as leader of the pack Rick Ross being managed by Diddy of Bad Boy Records. So don't expect to no longer see the Meek Mill/Rick Ross/Wale/Stalley bangers that we have become accustomed to.
Signing with Roc allows Milly to work with produced Jahill Beats who has just signed on to work almost exclusively with Roc Nation, and of course being under a record label with Jay-Z doesn't hurt either.
Expect some huge things coming out of the Meek Mill camp in the coming months.

Nicki Minaj Sex Tape?!
It's been rumored that a certain artist has in his possession a sex tape with Nicki Minaj. What lucky bastard is it you might ask? If you're thinking Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga, or even Birdman, or any one in YMCMB you're wrong. No, its not Madonna either. Who does that leave?
G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean is said to have pulled an all nighter with Minaj after they filmed the "Dance (ASS)" music video. Supposedly, he has the whole encounter recorded and could release it any day now. In an interview last month, Big Sean made the comment about Minaj saying, "She felt my Big Sean."
What a lucky guy.

What Grinds My Gears
Something has been bothering me lately. I've been thinking about it since i've had a lot of time to think lately. This thing is people that say they're huge rap fans, but really have no idea what they are talking about.
Now let's be honest, I've only really listened to hip hop a lot for the last two or three years. When a topic comes up that I'm not sure about, I'll be sure to let you know that I either don't know or haven't listened to that artist, or whatever the issue is. Lately, I've been noticing a lot of "fake fans" we'll call them that come out thinking that they know everything about a certain person, group, etc.
The rappers that come to mind are 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, and Mac Miller.
2 Chainz has been rapping for like, 15 years. He started out by the name Tity Boi. He was signed under DTP. A lot of dudes out there today saying they're HUGE 2 Chainz FANS! Yet, when I ask them about Playaz Circle, they have no clue what I'm talking about. A TRU (see what I did there 2 Chainz fans) HUGE fan would know about Dolla Boy and their movement. They should know what happened to 2 Chainz back in the day. Here's a hint, it involves a gun.
Juicy J! All his "real fans" know he likes to get trippy. Blue Dream & Lean right? Well, what about Hustle Til I Die back in 2009? Better yet what about Three 6 Mafia? Name me 3 songs Three 6 Mafia did besides "Its Hard Out Here For A Pimp". Best yet, to all you huge Juicy J fans, who's his brother? Let me know before you look it up.
To all those "HUGE" Wiz Khalifa fans that suddenly showed up after "Black and Yellow" played during a commercial for the Steelers, but never listened to his older stuff before. Can you tell me some songs off of Kush and Orange Juice? How about Deal or No Deal. No? What about Prince Of The City: Welcome to Pistolvania? Still no? Thought so. I feel like half of the people that can read this post and not know about any of his original stuff done under Rostrum Records are also the same people that say he's sold out. Yes, Wiz's music has changed, but its still good.
Hey Mac Miller fans, tell me who Eazy Mac is. To all those "HUGE FANS" that twiddle their twat to "Party On Fifth Ave" and the rest of Blue Slide Park go listen to K.I.D.S. I bet you haven't before. Just because the dude's from the 'Burgh doesn't mean you can ride his dick after only knowing 6 songs by the guy. He doesn't even want that. Believe it or not, some artists would rather have real fans than fake ass ones.
Just to reiterate, I'm not saying this to people who casually listen to the music. This is just towards those jagoffs that claim to be huge fans, but really don't know anything. Listen to anything you want, just don't claim to be something that you aren't, please.
I'm Stumpy, and this is what I say. Don't like it? Let me know. Comment here or tweet at me @Ryan_LegarskyWU and tell me why.

Wiz Khalifa Speaks on O.N.I.F.C
Recently, Pittsburgh's own had an interview with DJ Whoo Kid and discussed his upcoming album O.N.I.F.C. and his recent run ins with the law.
Young Wiz discussed the features to expect on his next studio project. Wiz states that he is pretty excited to do all these as he will be working with the likes of The Weeknd, Chris Brown, Cam'ron, Pharrell, and Curren$y. You should also expect to see the normal Taylor Gang members Juicy J and Chevy Woods appear on it as well.
It's also been said that Mac Miller has been in the studio recording a track with Wiz.
The most important part was when he said to expect 2 Chainz to appear on the album. Tity Boi is my favorite rapper, and if you haven't listened to him first off where the hell have you been? Second off click here right now.
O.N.I.F.C. (Only N***a In First Class) is set to release around August 28. Make sure you check out "Work Hard, Play Hard" the single released a few weeks back.
Wiz also spoke about his recent run in with the cops about his weed. He was cited two times within a two week span for possession of marijuana. Both times Wiz was released after paying a fine. Basically, during the interview Whoo Kid asks how that's affected things in which Thomaz says that whenever the cops come they just say "oh its just Wiz". Just another perk of being famous.

Good News Eminem Fans!
Hiphop-n-more.com is reporting that Eminem will not be filming his new movie "Southpaw"......yet. It appears when the makers of the movie applied for the license they soon withdrew because of "talent issues". It's been said that that talent is Em.
The reason he is withdrawing from filming right now is to put all of his focus into the music he's making in the studio. As a big fan of hip hop, that's great news. Eminem hasn't had any new solo stuff since he released Recovery in June of 2010. Expect one hell of a project coming out of his camp soon.
The movie "Southpaw' that Em is starring in is about a welterweight boxer's journey to the top of Detroit. Sounds like an interesting topic if you ask me. Watch out for the movie as well in the coming year or two.

B.O.B Strange Clouds First Week Sales
B.O.B's anticipated sophomore album Strange Clouds was officially released last week on May 1. Now that it has been a week, the sales have been released. The album sold 74,105 copies. This is lower than his first one, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which sold 84,000 copies.
When reading the posts that people have been making about this album, it makes me wonder if half of those kids know anything at all. Most of these posts and comments that I have been seeing are completely bashing B.O.B for making his own genre of music. The album goes more toward the pop-rap side of it, and apparently that means he sold out. Apparently no one realizes that he's been making the same kind of music his whole career. If any of them actually listened to his music they would know this. "Airplanes" was as pop-rap as it gets. If they liked that song but not anything on this album, they need to rethink their music choices
My own review of Strange Clouds would give the album a 9/10. I loved, LOVED it all. All the songs flow well together with a lot of mid tempo songs as well as slower ones and at the same time, he throws in the up tempo ones like "Strange Clouds" or "Out of My Mind".
A few months back, Bobby Ray promised his fans an album full of unreal features, and he did not disappoint. Of course, Lil Wayne has become a mainstay on most features lately so he was there. Others included Nicki Minaj, MORGAN FREEMAN, Trey Songz, Taylor Swift, T.I., and Playboy Tre just to name a few.
I highly recommend the album Strange Clouds and if you're looking for more B.O.B. make sure you check out his last mixtape E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial). This may be one of the best album's I have heard in years. Keep on the look out for his rock album as well.

Meek Mill
Meek Mill released the much anticipated follow up on his last mixtape Dreamchasers with Dreamchasers 2 yesterday. Within the first 24 hours, Meek Mill received over 3 MILLION downloads on his new tape. I thought Wiz Khalifa shut down the Internet with his Taylor Allderdice mixtape, but these results blow TA out of the water completely.
Of course, Meek Mill is part of the Maybach Music Group with Rick Ross as well as other very big names in the game right now. We haven't seen the last of Meek Mill. Expect his album coming out later this year, and don't be surprised to see this man on A LOT of features in the coming months.

Big K.R.I.T. News
As Big K.R.I.T. is getting done with his tour with J. Cole, he has announced his Live From The Underground tour starting July 11 in Detroit, MI. The tour has a total of 27 stops with most of them being on the western half of the country. The closest he will be getting to good ole PA is Cincinnati, OH. Seven of the stops will take place in California.
K.R.I.T. which for those of you who don't know stands for King Remembered In Time, is preparing for his debut album also called Live From The Underground. KRIT has made millions off of critically acclaimed mixtapes including his last one entitled 4Eva N a Day and his most known for Return of 4Eva and K.R.I.T. Wuz Here. He is most known for the remix of his original song "Country Sh*T" that he recorded with Ludacris and Bun B.
KRIT is one of the most lyrical guys in the game right now. If you have not yet heard any of his music, make sure you check it out. Below is a link to one of his songs off of 4Eva N A Day.
No guest performances have been announced for the tour yet, but during his last tour with J. Cole some big names came along with them. Don't be surprised to see some big named mainstream rappers performing with him.
Personally, I saw KRIT live at WVU towards the end of April. The one that I saw had Tyga on the lineup with the two young guns. KRIT started out the show (personally I thought it was a little early but he had nothing to do with that) and put on one hell of a show for the crowd that was still filing in. If possible, I definitely recommend checking him out, if not live then on YouTube. Luckily, I'm helping you out and throwing a link in right now. Here is a link to KRIT's song "1986" off his new 4Eva N A Day mixtape
I'm Stumpy, and this is what I have to say. Agree/disagree, questions/comments? Let me know, leave a comment. Follow me on Twitter @Ryan_LegarskyWU

DMX, Other News
DMX has announced that he will release a FreEP called The Weigh In. The EP will be released on May 15. It is in anticipation of his new studio album, Undisputed.
The Ruff Ryder has been working nonstop in the studio getting ready for this project. The album, which X has been working on since leaving jail is scheduled to be released June 26 of this year. X is also looking for his 7th number 1 rap album, and also his 7th platinum album.
DMX is the only rapper to have all of his albums certified platinum, while having all of his studio albums hitting number one on the charts.
I'm a huge DMX fan, and recently I had heard reports of a mixtape in the works with up and coming artist Machine Gun Kelly, so also watch out for that late this year into next.
The rap game has been full of news recently. Make sure you also look out for Waka Flocka Flame sophomore album Triple F Life June 12, 2012 as well as 2 Chainz's continuing his take over of the rap game with Based On A T.R.U. Story August 14, 2012.
I'm Stumpy, and that's what I have to say. Feedback is more than welcome.

Beastie Boys Being Sued?
Days after the death of Adam "MCA" Yauch, it has been released that hip hop record label Tuf America has filed a lawsuit against the Beastie Boys. Tuf America has announced that the Beastie Boys illegally used samples from Trouble Funk songs.
AllHipHop.com is reporting that the songs in question were parts of the Boys' debut album License to Ill as well as their follow up album Paul's Boutique.
Tuf America reports that the Trouble Funk song "Drop the Bomb" was illegally sampled for the songs "Hold it, Now Hit It" and "The New Style" off of the License To Ill album. It was also sampled illegally on "Car Thief" off Paul's Boutique.
Trouble Funk song "Say What" was also sampled illegally on the song "Shadach" which is also on Paul's Boutique.
All of this right now is just hitting the courts, so time will tell how this situation is resolved.
The only problem I have with this is License To Ill was released in 1986, while Paul's Boutique was released in 1989. Why did it take over 20 years for Tuf America to realize the samples? Why did they wait until the week the Beastie Boys are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to file this suit?
The report of the lawsuit was not released until today, but reportedly was filed May 3, the day before MCA passed away. Hopefully, this suit can be solved without any legal battles, and Ad-Rock and Mike D can get back to their daily lives.
