Yelawolf Talks About Recent Injury

Yelawolf had a recent interview with Rhyme and Reason magazine. The interview had a basis around an event that happened during a show.

He explained that during a show he stage dived in an attempt to crowd surf. The only problem was he came down hard on a fan's nose. Yela broke the man's nose, but also hit hard on the fan's head. He came up afterwards and had very intense pains in his back. He was rushed to the hospital, and in the end, he ruptured his spleen. He was hospitalized for several days, and had to cancel a few shows. He has made a full recovery, but as he told Rhyme and Reason, it put his life in check.

Personally, I think it's good to see a rapper be so energetic in his shows to do the stage dives, the crowd surfing, and being a player to the crowd. It's never good to see someone get put in danger like this though. So let's hope that he did make a full recovery for sure, and that he can live on to produce the great music that he normally does.

I'm Stumpy, and that's what I have to say.
